FrameSignal collects as little as we can to run a news site and reply to people who write in.

What this notice covers
This notice describes how FrameSignal handles information when you use the site. It covers ordinary reading, Vercel hosting logs, privacy-first analytics, and messages sent through Contact.
First-party site use
You can read FrameSignal without creating an account. Pages, images, and feeds load from our first-party site and the hosts we use to publish it. We do not run Google Analytics. We do not run marketing pixels. We do not show a cookie consent popup.
Vercel hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel records technical request logs. Those logs can include the page requested, the time, the browser type, and a network address. We use them to keep the site up, debug failures, and handle abuse. We do not use hosting logs to build advertising profiles.
Privacy analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, a first-party, privacy-oriented measure of page views and referrers. It is meant to tell us which stories are read, not who you are. It does not sell audience data. It is not a marketing pixel. Because it is privacy-first and first-party, FrameSignal does not put a cookie wall in front of the paper.
Contact form and Neon storage
If you send a message through Contact, we store what you submit so we can respond. That typically includes your name, your message, and your email if you give one. Messages are stored in a Neon database operated for FrameSignal. We do not use Contact submissions for advertising. We do not publish the inbox.
No sale of personal data
FrameSignal does not sell personal information. We do not share Contact messages or analytics for sale or for advertising networks.
