At Connect on Sept. 23, 2026, Meta said its Muse personal agent is coming to AI glasses. The company also opened pre-orders on camera-free Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses from $349, with shipments starting Oct. 13.

Meta used Connect week to push its personal AI agent onto wearable hardware and to sell a camera-free glasses SKU aimed at people who want audio help without a lens pointed outward. That is a consumer-agent story with a privacy product answer, not a research-hub dump.

Meta's Newsroom post on Sept. 23, 2026, says Muse, its personal AI agent, is coming to Meta AI glasses for hands-free help with daily tasks. A separate Muse launch post says the agent is rolling out on phones and the web, with AI glasses support coming soon. The Verge reports Muse can be woken by name for jobs such as workout guidance, meal logging, and shopping help. Hands-free Muse on glasses is announced as coming, not as already shipping on every SKU on day one.

The same Connect post introduces Ray-Ban Meta Audio, Meta's first camera-free, audio-first AI glasses. Meta says pre-orders start at $349 USD and that units ship October 13. Specs from the company: about 43 grams, Clubmaster and Burbank styles, up to 12 hours of use plus up to 48 hours more from the charging case. TechCrunch and The Verge independently cover the camera-free pitch and the $349 price.

TechCrunch places the audio-only SKU in the privacy backlash that nicknamed camera glasses "pervert glasses" after covert-filming complaints. That is wire context for why Meta is selling a no-camera model, not a courtroom finding. Gen 3 Ray-Ban Meta glasses with cameras remain a separate lineup from $449.

What remains open is how fast Muse features actually land on each glasses SKU, whether camera-free Audio changes the privacy argument in practice, and how the $349 tier competes with earbuds-plus-phone agents. Until Muse-on-glasses ships broadly, the Connect story is an official product announce with named price and ship date, not proof every wearer already has a full agent in their frames.
